School History
In 1973, members of Bible Baptist Church opened grades 1-8 on their property in Shiremanstown. Eighty-four students enrolled that first year at Bible Baptist School. By 1978, both kindergarten and high school had been added, and, in 1981, the school and church celebrated their first graduating class.
For the next 15 years, the campus underwent a series of renovations and additions to accommodate the growing school. The school was accredited in 1994.
In 2017, the Christian School Association of Greater Harrisburg brought together West Shore Christian Academy and Harrisburg Christian School to form the first Christian school system in the midstate.
