Future WSCA High School Campus

Our new high school campus, opening in August 2026, is designed to provide state-of-the-art learning spaces that support rigorous academics and Christ-centered community. Students in grades 9–12 will benefit from classrooms, labs, and collaborative spaces built to foster critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. With expanded opportunities for advanced coursework, dual enrollment, and hands-on learning, our new campus equips students to thrive academically, spiritually, and personally while preparing for college and life beyond graduation.

Discovering Their Calling

Throughout high school, students have many opportunities to explore different career fields. We encourage our high school students to participate in a variety of electives, internships, Dual Enrollment courses (included in tuition), Vo-Tech, and career counseling to discover and to develop their unique gifts.

Students also gain leadership experience through programs such as Student Council, National Honor Society, spring musical, and athletics.

Christ-Centered Curriculum

We take college readiness very seriously at WSCA, but we also want to provide opportunities for students to succeed in a variety of careers suited to their unique giftings. With this end in mind, our high school curriculum is well-rounded and Christ-focused.

Bible

The high school Bible curriculum is designed to help students mature in their faith as they step out into adulthood. Students will gain a deeper understanding of Christian life, doctrine, and church history, as well as analyze other worldviews and religious beliefs. Courses include:

English

Throughout the high school curriculum, students will engage in critical analysis of literature, read major works in various genres, and perfect their writing skills in both formal and creative styles. They will consider what it means to be Christian communicators in today's culture. Students with a particular aptitude for English may enroll in Dual Enrollment courses to further challenge their skills. Courses offered include:

Foreign Language

History

The WSCA High School history courses survey World History, U.S. History, and Western Civilization. Students will learn to analyze history critically and gain an understanding of the distinctive features of different time periods and cultures. They will read primary sources and respond to ideas with a thoughtful defense of their viewpoint. Courses offered include:

World History I and II
American Government
20th Century U.S. History
Dual Credit U.S. History I and II
Dual Credit Western Civilization I and II

Mathematics

Students have ample opportunity to develop a high level aptitude in mathematics through our high school courses. Honors and Dual Enrollment courses are also available for students with a particular aptitude in mathematics. Courses offered include:

Pre-Calculus and Honors Pre-Calculus

Science

Students will explore God's design in creation through higher-level science courses. These courses are designed to encourage logical thinking skills and scientific inquiry from a Christian perspective. Courses offered include:

The aim of physical education courses is to have each student improve in her ability in each sport or activity played and to have them participate in the sports with an attitude that is pleasing to the Lord. Students will also receive instruction in how to attain and maintain good health habits. Courses offered include:

Career and Technical Education

Starting their sophomore year, WSCA students have the opportunity to attend Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center (CPACTC). If accepted, students attend CPACTC in the afternoon, taking courses in their technical program plus social studies. Students will still attend WSCA in the morning for courses such as Bible, English, science, math, and PE. Contact the WSCA office to learn more about the WSCA/CPACTC student experience.

Program Highlights

Weekly Chapel

Chapel is a key aspect of our student life at WSCA as a community dedicated to living for the glory of God. High school students have their own weekly chapel time. Chapel includes a devotional based on the theme verse of the year and a time of worship, led by the high school Worship Life Committee.

The high school Worship Life Committee is a unique opportunity for students with musical ability to use their gifts to lead the student body in worship. Students who participate in chapel leadership rehearse regularly and play at both the middle school and high school chapels.

AP Courses

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are rigorous academic programs that may permit a student to enter college with advanced standing. These year-long classes allow students to study a subject area at the college level. Advanced college standing is awarded based upon the results of the AP exams, which are held in May. Each college and university has their own standards for AP acceptance, students should review the policies of the post-secondary institutions they might attend prior to registering for an AP class.

Dual Enrollment

J-Term

During J-Term each January, 9th and 10th-grade students participate in one or two J-Term courses to explore interest areas through in-depth, experiential activities.

11th and 12th-grade students complete an IMPACT Project. This is an excellent time for students to consider their God-given callings and gain real-world experience. The IMPACT Project allows juniors and seniors to pursue an Interest, Mission, Partnership, Authority (Leadership), Career, or Trade experience and display the characteristics of a CSAGH graduate in an expanded way.

Interest – Experiential learning project in a personal area of interest
Mission – Mission experience through church, school, or other organization
Partnership – Partner with a local service organization
Authority – Hold a leadership position in an outside organization (coach, supervise, etc.)
Career – Participate in an internship experience
Trades – Shadow/internship experience in a trade
