Spring Musical

Drama enables our students to explore and experience a range of feelings and emotions in a safe and secure environment. It helps develop moral, social and spiritual awareness, gives a sense of achievement, fosters community, and gives students an opportunity to express themselves.

Each spring, WSCA students produce a high quality Broadway musical with a live pit orchestra. Students of all skill levels are able to participate, and a large number of our 6-12th graders are involved onstage and backstage. Student roles include drama, choreography, singing, student director and stage crew. Other opportunities include set design, construction and painting, costuming, props, sound and lights, make-up, advertising and volunteers for the nights of performances.

Some of our graduates have gone on to participate in collegiate level theater departments and even starred in professional programs such as Sight and Sound.
